The Savigny-Les-Beaune Clos du Village Monopole that Julien Gros produces comes from grapes located on a plot of 0.69 hectares. In the vineyard the reasoned struggle is practiced. The grapes are harvested manually and the aging takes 12 to 14 months in 500-liter barrels (50% of new barrels).
Golden color with emerald reflections. A nose with aromas of white flowers. On the palate, buttery notes and brioche. In the mouth a frank and mineral attack.
Ready to drink wine but it will certainly improve for the next 10 years.
Taste it at a temperature of 12 ° C to appreciate it to the fullest. It goes well with veal, cod, cream cheese.
